Website development is a labour of love, first and foremost. It's a little bit like music, though not as sexy. The object is to make it easier for you to communicate freely with one another in any way you can imagine. A successful website, one that does an effective job of marketing your company, band, ideas and adventures has got to be a collaborative effort! You have to provide to me the information about your project and what we're trying to accomplish so that I can prepare a site that well reflects your style and personality.
Take, for example, the Mystic Knights Blues Band. They just needed a little help getting their photos, audio and (soon) video into their new website layoout and to be able to easily communicate with their fan base. So I revamped their main site and myspace layouts, set up a blog, and accounts on JamBase and Pittsburgh Live Music, made them all pretty and then showed them how to use it all. I did a couple of other nifty geek tricks that I won't bore you with, mostly having to do with pleasing and appeasing the Gods of Google and good anti-spam practices. Just Google Gil Snyder or Mystic Knights Pittsburgh and see what comes up.
Once we've figured out what you need, I'll give you a written proposal with ongoing documentation as the work progresses.
